Rise and Shine

Emily and 2 girls from her class got to lead the pledge of allegience this morning during Rise and Shine. I am so proud of her for speaking in front of the entire school! All three girls did a great job!

This is so easy, I'm getting bored

See mom, piece of cake!

Baseball Game

We made it down to Norman last Sunday for the OU K-State baseball game. James and I had a great time; Emily and Nathan not so much. But they did get to go down on the field after the game and run the bases, which they thought was pretty cool. I got to see Jana and Haven, so that was fun too.

Freedom Fest Art Festival

Emily and Nathan showing off their artwork last week. Nathan's class studied Picasso and did drawings in his style. Emily's class studied Joseph Raphael and did paintings like his.

Azalea Festival

I had a great time making these:

We made it to church for the first time since my surgery:

And had a blast hunting Easter eggs

Party at Build-A-Bear

Since Emily had her birthday party at Build-A-Bear, Nathan wanted his there too. Which was fine, until he picked this. Uncle Lance, who doesn't realize how little my children know about sports, thought he was being funny by suggesting that Nathan choose the longhorn bull for his animal. Of course, Nathan thinks its awesome. Thanks a lot, Lance. I'm returning the favor with this:

Nathan's Birthday

Nathan wanted his birthday cake to be a yellow cake with chocolate frosting, crushed oreos, gummy worms and scooby doo decorations. Its a Nathan Beymer original design.
